(Note: It will lose some of that brightness in the months since harvest. Someday, I'd like to be there when the olive oil is FRESH, wouldn't you?!) Olive oil is produced immediately after harvest just once per year, so you may wish to purchase A YEAR'S SUPPLY or, at least purchase enough to maximize your shipping costs.
To receive the health benefits of highly active polyphenols and anti-oxidants of FRESH OLIVE OIL, you'll want to use this new olive oil for all NON-HEAT PURPOSES like salad dressings, dipping bread, or drizzling on soups and stews. For COOKING oil, I suggest buying last year's oil, as it still has a year of good shelf life but doesn't have the full compliment of active polyphenols anymore, which are destroyed in the heat of cooking anyway.

SHIPPING ... Flat rate: We can ship up to four 1L tins OR one 3L tin anywhere in the continental states and Canada for $17.10. And, two 3L tins can be shipped anywhere for about $25. Variable rate: For 1-2 1L tins, a variable rate box is usually best and cost depends on distance. For an approximate idea, 2 x 1L tins can be shipped for about $10 to neighboring states. We do our best to find the least shipping for your order and adjust invoices to reflect actual shipping costs.
Our favorite way to use this wonderful olive oil is to make SALAD DRESSING! It can be as simple as 1/4 cup Olive Oil, 2-3 tablespoons of red wine vinegar or lemon juice, 1/4 teaspoon salt, and 1/8 teaspoon pepper (season to taste). With Manetas Olive Oil, this is delicious without anything more, although adding some fresh or dried herbs (like 1/2 t Oregano) is wonderful, too. ++
